Easily convert your Revo 2.5 or 3.3 chassis and the new Slayer into a
Nitro Stomping awesome truck. The two speed transmission blasts away any
Pure Breed E Revo. Having the smooth consistent power of electric
Brushless/Lipo systems you can quietly stomp with insane performance.
Use any 1/8th scale brush less system for incredible performance. Using
your existing nitro set up 2 speed transmission, center differential,
and dual brakes you can improve your lap times from consistent quiet
power. We have performed rather intense testing and found 11.1 V to be
more than adequate in power; considering power to weight ratios and
balance. For even more power simply increase the battery voltage to
14.8V or 18.5V systems and HOLD ON !!! (Make sure your speed
control will handle the voltage and always adjust cutoff voltages with Lipos).
Our kit does not use a clutch which we
feel is not the proper way to transfer electric power. Clutches are for
an Engine to Idle! Nothing more. Currently we have no issues of
exploding batteries which is associated with clutched electric motors.
This is due to electric motors spool up quickly while the clutch is
engaging, and not enough rotating mass as an engine crankshaft parts
etc.. Once engaged the battery amperage can spike. While constantly on
and off on the throttle, and landing jumps the battery will experience
surge spikes.
These electric conversion kits are
fun to drive. Everyone who drives them can't stop!
